| Review: | As far as I'm concerned the only reason not to own this lens is that you already have one of the upgrade 50mm prime varieties. At the price, it combines the most fun and image quality of any lens I have. The 5 bladed diaphragm can leave pentagonal out of focus highlights and generally unpleasing bokeh. I use this lens mostly on Kenko extension tubes for macro but other reviews posted here suggest it also does well for more normal photography. The bat photo below suffers from unsharpness due to motion (1/6 second handheld) but was taken in the bat house in the zoo with dim red lights. What more can you ask for the price? |

| Review: | This lens offers an excellent price/quality level. When you learn how to deal with its downsides it'll bring you quite satisfying results.

| Pro: | Sharp, nice length on dSLR |
| Con: | Builtquality is not great, AF a little noisy |
| Review: | I use this lens for indoor portraits where there is little light and as an semi-standardlens whereever I need a small DOF. This lens offers really great value for the money, I paid €80,-, for a lens that's pretty sharp and very sharp from 2.8 and up.
