Fast lens.
Great sharpness. Very good contrast and color.
DX format lens gives a true 180° view on DX camera's
Compact and properly built

Con:

Price.
Traces of CA in high contrast areas of the image corners.
Vulnerable front element.

Review:

To say that this lens is a toy is both true and false at the same time. It is a toy because it's such great fun to use. It's also not a toy because the results are truly professional and it covers a wide range of possibilities.

The 180° view allows you to work in either very small or very large spaces and together with the f/2.8 it doesn't really matter how dark these spaces might be.
No matter which aperture you choose, the image is always razor sharp with proper rendition of contrast and color.
In the image corners the lens will show CA in the high contrast areas which, in a way, is quite normal for these kind of lenses.

The lens is very suitable for architecture and landscapes, but  its' close focus abilities also allow for creative photography.

The built quality of the lens is very decent and compact (the word 'cute' often springs to mind). The only problem is the large and unprotected front element. It's very easy to get dust, raindrops or greasy fingers (or even noses) on it. But again...that's just the way these lenses are.

The price is rather high, but definitely worth it.

I bought the lens about 2 years ago, has been with me ever since and probably will be for the time coming.
